Britney Is Back And Better Than Ever
A week after her release from a mental health treatment facility, Britney Spears is getting back into the routine of normal life. She has been spotted around Los Angeles running errands, hanging out with her boyfriend, and chatting on her cell phone.
After rumors circulated that the pop princess had been held against her will, Britney took to Instagram to assure her followers that “all is well.” Although Britney did have to seek treatment for mental health problems this year, people close to Spears say she “doesn’t live in fear” of having another serious breakdown.
Us Weekly reports that Britney doesn’t live in fear of repeating what happened in 2007 and 2008, referencing when the Princess of Pop, now 37, shaved her hair, attacked a photographer’s car with an umbrella. This resulted in Spears temporarily losing custody of sons Preston, 13, and Jayden, 12, to ex-husband Kevin Federline and found herself involuntarily committed to a psychiatric hospital.
“Is that period of time in the back of her mind? Sure, sometimes. But she doesn’t let it affect her day-to-day routine,” the source tells Us Weekly. “She’s come such a long way as a performer, as a mother, and as a person — and that includes knowing when it’s time to take the necessary steps to seek help,” US Weekly said in its exclusive story about Britney.
For now, Britney appears to be regaining her mental and physical well-being, to the delight of her ever-supportive fan base.
