Amy Schumer Pokes Fun At Hollywood’s Age & Beauty Double Standards

Amy Schumer is taking the world by storm. If you don’t know who she is already, you need to tune into her Comedy Central show ‘Inside Amy Schumer’ which features the actress in multiple hilarious comedy bits.

In her latest sketch for the show, Schumer has teamed up with Hollywood legends Tina Fey, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Patricia Arquette to make a statement against the media and their portrayal of women. The sketch is about Schumer stumbling upon a picnic where the other three ladies are celebrating Louis-Dreyfus’ last “f**kable” day in the media.

This is where a woman in Hollywood can no longer believably be someone worth having sex with in a movie. For example as Tina Fey mentions, one moment Sally Field is the love interest of Tom Hanks and then like 20 minutes later she is playing his mother.

But do men have this last day of desire? No way! The hilarious bit provides both plenty of laughs but also raises awareness of the double standard that the media is putting on women.
