The 71st annual Golden Globe awards was a seriously star studded event, even for one of its magnitude. We saw Sandra Bullock, Meryl Streep, Judi Dench, Leonardo Dicaprio, Martin Scorsese and Tom Hanks (AKA Tam Hunks according to Amy Poehler) amongst the many celebrities attending the event last night. The night even included a faux-drunken Emma Thompson throwing aside her Louboutins and sipping a martini on stage.

Between the witty humor from the hosts, the jaw dropping gowns on the ladies and the heartfelt acceptance speeches we think this yeas Golden Globes was one for the ages.

Tina & Amy

Funny gals Amy Poehler and Tine Fey hosted last night’s event and just as they did last year they kept everything running smoothly and ensured the crowd and viewers at home we’re laughing through till the end. Tina & Amy’s hilarious opening monologue was really one of the best moments of the night.

Both ladies looked stunning on the red Capet as well as during the actually event. Of course the ladies poked a little good nurtured fun at some of the most notable nominees and films throughout the course of the awards show. Over all the girls did a great job and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see what they deliver next year.
