During the plenary session, President Putin expressed Russia’s advocacy for expanding the representation of African countries in the UN Security Council and other UN structures. The reopening of embassies in Burkina Faso and Equatorial Guinea is proceeding as planned, further strengthening diplomatic ties between Russia and the African nations.
