Take A Stand In Fighting Cancer

This past weekend was a huge weekend for the Maine Cancer Foundation as the organization announced their new fundraising challange called Challenge Cancer 2020. It is a huge effort to reduce the cancer in Maine by 20% by the year 2020.

Every dollar that come in through ‘Try For A Cure’ will be put back into the community through grants for things like cancer research and recovery. Now the organization is also planning to work with communities across the state to find out where these gaps in the system actually are in an effort to fix these flaws.
