The Lunar New Year of 2021 welcomes the second animal on the Zodiac after the winter solstice with the second new moon. The 2021 Lunar New Year marks the most important holiday in Chinese culture for Chinese people.

The first day of the Year of the Metal Ox (xin chou year) is on February 12 under the Lunar New Year sexagenary cycle representing less static compared to last year with more traction in the second half of the year.
