We call this the Weekend TV Six-pack, and now it features a real draft

Not beer, though. The NFL draft.

If you enjoyed a round with us on Thursday night, well, plunk your heiner in the recliner (or the nearest bar stool). More rounds are coming.

Friday’s NFL gathering in Nashville, Tennessee, features the second and third rounds of selections. It begins at 7 p.m. ET. Can you see it? You can’t possibly miss it. View it on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN Deportes.

The draft comes to a close on Saturday with rounds four through seven on the same group of alphabets, but beginning at noon.

The second round of the NHL playoffs is underway, and the surprising Carolina Hurricanes advanced to play the New York Islanders. That’s Friday night at 7 p.m. on NBCSN. Game 1 of the Colorado Avalanche-San Jose Sharks follows on the same network at 10 p.m.

There’s nothing like a good Game 7 in the NBA playoffs, and we should get one on Saturday night. The San Antonio Spurs forced the decisive finale with a 120-103 win over the Denver Nuggets on Thursday night; Game 7 is Saturday at 10 p.m. on TNT.

Need something more placid than these back-and-forth sports, yet not as verbose as NFL draft coverage? The PGA Tour’s Zurich Classic – a rare team event – will provide much quieter analysis, provided the weather in New Orleans allows for play, which was delayed for seven hours on Thursday. Rounds three (Saturday) and four (Sunday) are on CBS at 3 p.m.

Our NASCAR buddies return from a one-week break for the GEICO 500 at Talladega. Fox gets the honors on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Quite a variety pack there for your eyes and ears. Enjoy responsibly.
