Get Ready For The Action-Packed Weekend Of Sports

Wall to wall, it’s basketball!

Day Two of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament begins early and ends late, and then there’s more through the weekend. Can there ever be too much?

Probably the best of the best on Friday comes at 4:30 p.m. ET on TBS, when No. 5 (seed) Wisconsin plays No. 12 Oregon. The Ducks have won eight straight and reached the NCAAs by winning the Pac-12 tournament. Wisconsin is led by Ethan Happ.

Another interesting matchup pits tiny Wofford, a No. 7, vs. No. 2 Kentucky on Saturday at 2:40 p.m. on CBS. The Terriers had a great season and beat Seton Hall to advance, but now they’re going up against a legacy program loaded with one-and-done players.

Lastly, we’ll suggest No. 12 Murray State against No. 4 Florida State at 6:10 p.m. on TNT. If you haven’t seen the Racers’ Ja Morant play, you’re missing quite a show.

Sunday’s matchups will depend on Friday’s results, so keep an eye on the schedule for that.

Other good reasons to plunk your heiner in the recliner:

The PGA Tour is in Palm Harbor, Florida, for the Valspar Championship. The final round on Sunday can be seen on NBC at 3 p.m.

Our friends on the NASCAR circuit are at Martinsville Speedway on Sunday for the STP 500 and FS1 will show the race from that famed short track at 2 p.m.

This is March Madness at its best. Basketball around the clock. Enjoy it.
