History In The Making
It has been an exciting time as Cubans lined their port to greet the Adonia, the first U.S. cruise ship since 1959 to arrive in Havana. People cheered and were glad to be apart of history in the making both Americans and Cubans.
When interviewed Cubans said, “It’s time for togetherness. And it’s time for everything to be okay. That’s why we have both [Cuban and American] flags.” Others said, “I hope it is the first of many, that this is the icebreaker. I hope we continue to move forward. We Cubans are very happy.” Is this a clear sign of change? For more details be sure to check out the video above.
