Repeated calls, unwanted mail and suspicious emails we’ve all experienced it. But if you’re like most people, after everything you have tried, you’re still being bombarded with shady marketing tactics even when you think you put your number on the no call list.
But have no fear because after ‘The List’ host Brien McElhatten spoke with a lawyer, you will have your name off that list in no time. So, the first thing you should do to keep unwanted calls away is log onto donotcall.gov. Once you have put in your phone number and you are still receiving calls from the same telemarketers after that you can actually file a lawsuit in small claims court.
Each of these offenses will fine the company $500 which ends up in your wallet. So, before you answer one more phone call be sure to log on and get your name permanently off the list!
