What does one do when a loosing baseball franchise doesn’t have the amount of fans in the stands that they would like? Well, that’s an easy question for a South Korean struggling baseball team, cheering robots.

Every year the Hanwha Eagles are the worst South Korean Major League Baseball Team.

Year after year loosing would cause any fan to loose enthusiasm. To improve the atmosphere at the home games and fill a lot of the empty seats the Eagles built about two dozen fan bots with signs that can be controlled by fans at the stadium or even at home through a mobile app.

The technology doesn’t stop there; the people can also add their face to the bots at the stadium, control chants, and even start the wave. It’s both sad and creepy but it can’t get any worse then no fans at a stadium!

Who knows maybe the technology will make its way to the US and the Miami Marlins could give it a try!
