Serena Williams executive produces her life docuseries

The international professional women’s tennis legend Serena Williams will be revealing more about her professional and personal life with a docuseries deal with Amazon. Williams signed a first-look deal with Amazon for the docuseries with the benefit of seeing any future project Williams produces before any rival distributors.

Williams is excited for the docuseries deal with Amazon Studios to document her life story on and off the court. The untitled docuseries is still in development with Willams as executive producer along with her tennis coach Patrick Mouratoglou, Tony Pastor, and Stuart Cabb. The docuseries will be produced by Amazon Studios, Plum Pictures, and Goalhanger.

This project will mark the first of a few upcoming scripted and unscripted projects by Williams. The 23-time Grand Slam tennis champion was previously featured in a five-part docuseries “Being Serena” on HBO in 2018 that was a similar premise following her personal and private life. The docuseries is already in the process of filming and will be one of many projects to come from the tennis legend.
