Commemorating the loss of Princess Diana
The world commemorated the loss of the late Princess Diana including her son and daughter-in-law, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The former Duke and Duchess of Sussex commemorated the memory of Princess Diana by volunteering with young students to plant Diana’s favorite flowers in a community garden.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle volunteered at the Preschool Learning Center in Los Angeles to plant Diana’s favorite flowers, forget-me-nots, in the school’s garden to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of Diana’s passing. Princess Diana was the royal of the people and lived a unique lifestyle for a royal, raising her children differently including Prince William and Prince Harry.
Princess Diana wanted her children to live normal lives and enjoy the childhood that is uncommon with members of the royal family. Prince Harry lived less of a royal life growing up and could be one of the reasons he decided to step down from his royal title and responsibilities as the Duke of Sussex.

The former royal couple has dedicated their extra time by giving back with community service and celebrate the memory of Diana on the annual anniversary of her passing. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spent the day with the Preschool Learning Center in Los Angeles replanting flowers and food plants as its annual activity.
The Preschool Learning Center’s garden provides an enriched activity for the student and provides fresh vegetables for its cafeteria with tomatoes, sweet peas, squash, and more. The Preschool Learning Center is organized by the Assistance League of Los Angeles that works towards improving the lives of children in need with compassionate programs and dedicated service.
The Assistance League works hard to provide quality child care to students between the ages of 3 and 5 from lower-income families from local communities. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also hosted a storytime for the students reading books about planting, gardening, vegetables, and the timeless children’s book Jack and the Beanstalk.
