
Maya Angelou, one of America’s most celebrated poets, novelists and civil-rights activists has passed away.
The award-winning author, poet and civil rights activist was found dead inside her Winston-Salem home at the age of 86.
Angelou, who served on two Presidential committees, will forever be remembered as a truly phenomenal woman and inspirational artist.
