Making Waves
President Obama is said to make his first ever-presidential trip to federal prison. However, apparently he is the first ever-sitting president to ever do so.
Mr. Obama will be speaking Thursday with inmates and law enforcement officials at a prison close to Oklahoma city. The president will also be interviewed for a documentary on the criminal justice system by HBO news magazine show Vice.

The purpose of the trip according to officials is to “outline the unfairness in much of our criminal justice system, highlight bipartisan ideas for reform and lay out his ideas to make our country fairer, smarter and more cost effective while keeping the American people safe and secure.” To hear more about what Obama will be doing on his trip to Oklahoma be sure to check out the video above.
