A Big Change For The Big Apple
Get ready for it, NYC is about to become one huge WIFI hotspot! And how will they be doing that? Well, let’s just say they’re going to slowly start to get rid of the old payphones so next time you’re in the city be sure to take a picture because they’re about to be a thing of the past.

They attempt is to replace these payphones and then introduce 4,500 WIFI stations across the city by 2019. The idea is to provide free public Internet access to all and of course we think this is such a great idea.
The stations will have a tablet for Internet browsing, free U.S. calling, and USB charging ports. LINKNYC will use an encrypted network to protect its users. How cool is this!
