Many Mourn the Loss of ‘Fast & Furious’ Actor Paul Walker

Paul Walker, best known for his role in the “Fast and The Furious” movies, died Saturday afternoon after a single-car accident and explosion in Southern California.

Walker was 40 years old and about to shoot key scenes in the now delayed production phase of the ‘Fast and & Furious’ franchise’s 7th film.

Walker will not only be remembered for his cinematic talents but also for his philanthropic contributions, included his charity organization Reach Out Worldwide which he was at an event for just prior to the fatal car crash.

Fans of Walker’s and fellow celebrities took to Twitter to express they condolences and share memories of Walker’s life. Tyrese Gibson, Walker’s ‘Fast & Furious’ co-star spent an emotion few moments at the crash site paying his respects.

Though it is unclear exactly what caused the accident, reports claim that the Porsche Carrera GT in which Walker was a passenger was acting-up just prior to Walker entering the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle who was also killed in the saddening incident has been identified as 38-year-old Roger Rodas.

While the investigation into the crash is just beginning, authorities have said that speed appears to have played a major factor in the cause of the accident.
