The 2016 Grammy Award show was last night and it was on point like always. The Grammys really kicked off about an hour and a half into the show with Kendrick Lamar’s amazing medley of “Alright” and “The Blacker the Berry.” Having been lulled into submission early on, fans had reluctantly accepted that the Grammys had been operating at about a 6 before Lamar hit the stage with his amazing energy, ferocity and social message.
There were also fabulous performances by Adele and Justin Bieber, but what the Grammys really did great was that they had musicians from all different genres and ages perform, which really made the night special for everyone. Another great performance was by Lady Gaga as she performed in honor of Bowie and we must say her performance was a hit.
And of course it wouldn’t be a night at the Grammy’s without a little Kanye West and Taylor Swift drama. That’s right; Taylor got on stage and without mentioning any names threw Kanye under the bus for saying in his new song that he made her famous. Here we go again. But the fun didn’t end there.
