Hayley Arceneaux will join first flight in space tourism
SpaceX is preparing for the first private flight with the goal of promoting space tourism for private citizens including Hayley Arceneaux who will make history in more than one way. Hayley Arceneaux was chosen as one of the lucky civilians to participate in the first private flight for SpaceX making her the youngest American in space.
Arceneaux said she’s most excited about serving as a beacon of hope for other cancer patients who often don’t see themselves represented in historic milestones.

The spaceflight is scheduled for late 2021 around October that will take off at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida bound for Earth’s orbit. Billionaire entrepreneur Jared Isaacman announced the space mission pledging to raise $200 million for St. Jude with half of his own contribution who will be manning the all-civilian space flight with three contest winners.
Arceneaux was one of the lucky winners and was excited when she was asked to represent St. Jude on this historic spaceflight. The second member of the all-civilian crew will be a sweepstakes winner that anyone can enter by donating to St. Jude with more than $9 million. The last member of the spaceflight will be one lucky business owner who uses credit card-processing companies including Pennsylvania, Shift4Payments, and Isaacman’s Allentown.
