
The 30 Under 30 list includes breakout music artists
Forbes reveals the list of the 30 Under 30 list for 2020 including breakout music artists with Doja Cat, Roddy Ricch, Lil Baby and more. Among the young entrepreneurs featured on the list breakout music artists that raised to fame in 2020.

The 2021 Forbes 30 Under 30 list featured a panel of alumni including Taylor Swift, Mike Caren (creative officer of Warner Music Group), Jill Scott, and Nija Charles (songwriter/producer). Forbes celebrated breakout music artists including Doja Cat, Bea Miller, Roddy Ricch, Saweetie, Lil Baby, and Gabby Barrett.
Roddy Ricch rode the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 18 weeks with his No. 1 debut album ‘Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial’ that earned him a Grammy win and $20 million this year. The 22-year-old artist re-invested in his hometown of Compton, California through real estate and is working on launching a foundation to teach neighbors about financial literacy.
Doja Cat is only 25-years-old and dominated the charts as a breakthrough artist in 2020 for her hit song “Say So” with the music video viewed over 18 million times. Doja Cat won several MTV awards, American Music Award, and People’s Choice Award in 2020 alone.
Aside from celebrities, Forbes is celebrating the next generation of innovation and philanthropy for the future of all industries. G Herbo launched the mental health initiative, Swervin’ Thorugh Stress, providing young Black adults with therapy resources.
Cynthia Park is being honored for founding the music marketing firm Teammate that works to donate monthly to causes for racial injustice and coronavirus (COVID-19). The violinist entrepreneur, DuMarkus Davis, made the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for his company MusicBak that gives access to musicians for virtual lessons with funding awarded by Google.
