Meghan Markel Expecting Fir Child With Prince Harry

At a time when much of the United Kingdom is full of uncertainty amid the chaos of Brexit, it has been announced that the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle is pregnant.

Markle and Prince Harry, who have been married since May, are currently visiting Australia and New Zealand. In a statement released by Kensington Palace, the couple are said to be: “delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.” The couple are currently overseas to attend the third Invictus Games, the international sports competition for injured veterans and military persons founded by Prince Harry in 2014.

The couple will also be spending a lot of time meeting locals and visiting youth leadership projects.

The Duchess has expressed her commitment to motherhood by stating that the chance to be a mother is on her ‘bucket list’. Talk has been ripe since their wedding that there will be a new royal baby soon enough, with Harry stating in February: “Of course I would love to have kids right now but there’s a process that one has to go through.”

Bookmakers have already established the favorites for the name of the child, with Diana, James, Arthur and Victoria among the early front-runners. It has also been announced that the baby will be due in spring, with Google stating that there has been a massive spike in searches asking: ‘when is spring?’ since the announcement was made.

The spring baby will be another great-grand child for Queen Elizabeth II, following the births of Prince William’s three children.
