The Irwin family celebrates Bindi’s big news

The newlywed couple, Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell, just shared some exciting news for their family and the Austalia Zoo. Nearly five months since their wedding, the wildlife conservationist couple announced they’re expecting their first child.

Bindi and Chandler announced the great news on their social media this morning with Bindi announcing the Australia Zoo will be expecting a “Baby Wildlife Warrior” that will be due in 2021. Bindi announced that she is in her first trimester and is excited on sharing her journey through motherhood with fans.

Bindi Irwin’s family is well-known in the wildlife community as she is the daughter of the late wildlife legend, Steve Irwin, known for the original wildlife TV show “The Crocodile Hunter.” Steve’s mission in life was to promote conservation of wildlife and passing this mission down to the next generation with both of his children following in his footsteps guided by his wife Terri Irwin.

The couple made this exciting announcement with the cutest picture of Bindi and Chandler holding a matching baby-sized version of the Wildlife Warrior uniform khaki shirt.
