The makers of American Hustle can add the trophy for Best Comedy at the Critic’s Choice Awards to their increasingly full mantle.

The film beat out Enough Said, The Heat, This is the End, The Way Way Back, and The World’s End for the award.

Earlier in the evening, one of Hustle’s stars, Amy Adams, took home the honor for Best Actress in a Comedy.

Other Critics’ Choice Award Winners

Leonardo DiCaprio kicked things off at the 2014 Critics’ Choice Awards by winning Best Actor in a Comedy for his hilarious work in The Wolf of Wall Street!

He faced some stiff competition including, Christian Bale, the late James Gandolfini, Simon Pegg, and Sam Rockwell!

Cate Blanchett was another big winner of the night, winning accolades for her role in Blue Jasmine, while Sandra Bullock won for her role in Gravity.

Many of the winners at the Critics’ Choice Awards we’re hot off their victories at the Golden Globes and some are probably expecting to hear their name called on Oscar night as well.

Let’s hope all of last night’s winners keep up the momentum going into the Academy Awards.
