Sam Smith Records Stunning Rendition of ‘Lay Me Down’ with John Legend!!

A duet with Sam Smith and John Legend is something I did not know I needed in my life, but now that it has happened it is all I can listen to! The two power ballad vocalists took to the recording studio to collaborate on a new version of Smith’s single ‘Lay Me Down.’

Just hearing Sam Smith sing that song is enough to send listeners into a hysterical crying fit, but add the sultry sound of John Legend’s voice – whew, almost too much goodness.

The duet was recorded for the UK’s ‘Comic Relief’ benefit which aims at helping the less fortunate across the United Kingdom as well as Africa.

All the money earned from the song will go straight to those funds. So not only do we get an amazing new song to listen to, we are helping out people all over the world by buying it. Sounds like a win/win to me!
