Never Forget
We all remember where we were, sat, and even what we were talking about today thirteen years ago. Thirteen years ago, September 11, 2001, the largest attack ever on American soil would change our country forever.
The White House today marked the anniversary with a moment of silence. Events also took place at the Pentagon and the field in Shanksville, Pa., where the other planes crashed that day.

In New York, the roll call of victims began at the World Trade Center site shortly after 8:46 am., the same time thirteen years ago when the first plane hit the north tower. The event was closed to the public except for families of the victims.
Even though this was the biggest tragedy in American history, it brought a nation together that is now stronger than ever.
