Another Feat For The Life-Like Robot Sophia
One small step for robots, one giant leap for…robot-kind? That’s the saying, right? Trust me, we have plenty more robot puns, but we will save you from the face palm and head shake that would follow. On a serious not, if you weren’t already scared of a robot takeover, you probably will be now. Sophia, the Saudi Arabian robot, is now taking her first steps. Seldom does a robot gain citizenship, then learn to walk on its own. Alright guys, this is getting pretty serious.

The Saudi Arabian creation gained citizenship in October of last year, and became the first robot to do so. From her lifelike skin, to her oddly realistic facial expressions and mannerisms, this robot is almost too lifelike. She took a few steps and even danced a little bit, trying out her new and powerful legs. From citizenship to walking, what’s next for Sophia? Stay tuned, my friend.
