Maya Rudolph Breaks Out Rachel Dolezal Impression on ‘Late Night’

Maya Rudolph has provided audiences with many spot on impersonations during her days on ‘Saturday Night Live’ – everyone from Oprah Winfrey to Beyonce – and now by popular demand, Rachel Dolezal.

The former NAACP leader has been under fire recently after reports came to the surface that she is in fact not African American and instead “a white woman pretending to be black.” Ever since the controversy went down, Maya has said that people are constantly coming up to her wishing she was still on ‘SNL’ so she could do an impersonation of Dolezal in a sketch.

Unfortunately, ‘SNL’ is on summer hiatus at the moment but luckily Seth Meyers came to the rescue by giving Rudolph the chance to make her fans happy. Maya donned a frizzy wig and reenacted that bizarre interview with Dolezal, with Meyers repeating the questions that the reporter was asking.

The audience absolutely loved it and soon the video hit the web and went viral. Maya put it best, “I think America really missed out. I’m so glad I brought my Rachel Dolezal wig – I always keep it in my purse.”
