Lego Landing

If you are into LEGO’s you might want to listen up, because if you can imagine a beach where thousands of LEGO pieces come ashore on the daily, you may have just found your perfect vacation spot!

Millions and millions of tiny Lego pieces have been coming ashore a UK beach for almost two decades now.

In February 1997, a container ship was hit by a wave twenty miles off the corners coast sending sixty-two containers overboard and one of those containers containing 4.8 million pieces. Shortly after, these pieces have been washing ashore and they have been doing so for seventeen years now.

The pieces come from many different kits but the pieces washing ashore recently are marine themed.

Many people come to the beach to try and collect as many free Lego’s as possible but it is a concern however for the marine life since they are plastic pieces. So if you are a Lego fan you just might want to check this out!
