Getting Ready For The Weekend Of Action-Packed Sports

We love the Triple Crown horse races, but rarely has one been so lacking in appeal.

The 144th Preakness Stakes on Saturday lacks the declared winner of the Kentucky Derby, Country House, and Maximum Security, who finished first and was then disqualified. So no horse wins the Triple Crown this after Justify succeeded in 2018.

Post time is 6:48 p.m. ET and NBC begins coverage at 5 p.m.

The PGA Championship, underway at Bethpage Black in New York, can be seen Saturday (third round) on CBS beginning at 2 p.m. Sunday’s final round is on TNT from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., when it moves to CBS.

Hoops? We’ve got hoops. Saturday night brings Game 3 of the Golden State Warriors-Portland Trail Blazers at 9 p.m. on ESPN. Sunday’s offering is the third game of the Milwaukee Bucks-Toronto Raptors series. TNT shows this at 7 p.m.

NASCAR’s All-Star Race can be seen Saturday on FS1 at 8 p.m.

Baseball fans get the Chicago Cubs-Washington Nationals at 7:05 p.m. on Sunday with ESPN doing the honors.

Get your heiner in the recliner. The fun has just begun.
