After all that excitement in the World Series, who couldn’t stand a libation or two?
Join us at the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party on Saturday – it’s also known as the Florida-Georgia college football game.
The Gators (7-1) are ranked No. 6. The Bulldogs (6-1) are eighth. They’re vying for first place in the SEC East. This longstanding rivalry will again play out in Jacksonville, Fla., at 3:30 p.m. ET and CBS has the telecast.
In another meeting of ranked teams, No. 15 Southern Methodist (8-0) visits No. 24 Memphis (7-1) in a game that could determine the AAC West berth in the conference championship game. ABC shows this at 7:30 p.m.
We are all in favor of getting an early start on the NFL, so drag yourself out of bed and plunk your heiner in the recliner for the Houston Texans-Jacksonville Jaguars game at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in London. NFL Network has the exclusive broadcast of this one.
Your other NFL best bets: At 1 p.m., catch the Chicago Bears-Philadelphia Eagles game. Both have underperformed and need to turn things around. Fox will show this one. At 8:20 p.m., NBC offers up the New England Patriots, still unbeaten, at the Baltimore Ravens.
NASCAR’s playoffs continue Sunday with the AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. This is the second-to-last race in the round of eight. NBCSN delivers at 3 p.m. If your taste runs to Formula 1, the U.S. Grand Prix is Sunday in Austin, Texas, and ABC shows it at 3:30 p.m.
Have fun. Keep your eyeballs moist and the pizza hot.
