Turner has sold the rights to 60 years worth of music.
Prolific musician Tina Turner announced today that she has inked a deal with music publishing company BMG to sell the rights to her entire back catalog of music. Turner’s discography spans 60 years of songs, and along with it, she is also selling her image and likeness rights, artist’s share of her recordings, her music publishing writer’s share, and neighboring rights. The precise price tag for all of these rights and music has not been disclosed, though industry analysts ballpark it at well over $50 million.

At the end of October, Turner will be honored with a second induction into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame.
