Ready, Set, Action!
There are three syllables that mean more to 90s kids than some people may ever know. Those long-awaited syllables are these: Space Jam 2.
The 1996 Warner Brothers film, you remember, was a film ahead of its time. As far as nostalgic and rosy retrospection goes, “Space Jam” had it all! It’s a live action-animation combo. It has aliens. It has Michael Jordan. It has a world to world vortex. It has Bugs and Daffy banter. It has romance, moral dilemma, and cartoon physics! The 90s’ “classic” is a heartwarming production with an award-winning soundtrack and its very own cult following.
The sequel will star the accomplished NBA star, and one of Time’s “100 most influential people in the world,” Lebron James. TheWrap reports that producer and director Terence Nance is in advanced negotiations to direct Lebron James in “Space Jam 2.” The director of several “Fast & Furious” movies, Justin Lin, and writer Andrew Dodge were also working on the sequel.
The story and the visuals of “Space Jam 2” are what viewers will definitely be looking forward to. We all want a world where we walk among our favorite childhood Looney Tunes. We’ll also delight in some good guys winning and a little defiance of physical laws.
