The talented snowboarded cited the risk of injury associated with the course.

Shaun White was injured on the Sochi Olympics training course, when he jammed his wrist on during a run.

The pre-Olympic practice injury gave Shaun White second thoughts about the Slopestyle course in Sochi. White pulled out of competition because he says the course is too dangerous.

According to his Facebook page, Shaun White is putting all of his focus on winning gold in the halfpipe in Sochi after withdrawing from the slopestyle competition.
