In a surprise announcement during NYFW this past September, it was said that Heidi Klum and the judges of Project Runway (Nina Garcia and Zac Posen) would be the new judges of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. Lets take a look back at what the Project Runway team did while they participated in the festivities and most importantly what they were wearing.

Heidi

Heidi Klum looked amazing while walking down the runway wearing a custom Max Azria atelier gown. The thing with Heidi Klum, is that she knows what works. This is especially true when it comes to her own styling and she rarely fails to impress. She essentially went with what works, and she pulled it off in grand fashion. The gown fit right into her playbook and she made it look easy walking down the runway. The gown worked her best features and really made her shine as she took the stage at Fashion Week.

Zac

Zac was looking especially cute wearing a purple fitted shirt. The color worked perfectly in the pictures and will likely show up wonderfully on TV. While it may be hard to truly stand out next to the girls, Zac did what he should have and chose the correct colors to wear. Taking the stage next to Heidi Klum is never an easy feat; however Zac was all smiles standing on stage and looked great in the process.

Nina

Nina Garcia took the runway wearing an Elie Saab outfit. While she still looks great, it could be seen as a bit of a disappointment considering her usual attire. With the other judges looking impeccable, Nina sticks out a bit, and not in the best of way. Sporting long pants and lace top, she simply looked out of place next to the lovely Kerry Washington and Zac.

Kerry

Kerry Washington walked out wearing a Stella McCartney dress, and while it looks great in the pictures, expect a few rumors surrounding the actresses to come out of it. While she does look beautiful in it, the way the dress sticks out in front quickly gave the impression that she might be sporting a bit of a baby bump. Perhaps she is, but if not the dress did come across as a bit of an odd fit to her curvature.

The hit show is now on its 12th season and we can only hope for more great things to come out of it in the future. Without an ending in sight, we can expect more fabulous appearances from the cast and judges.
