The Scoop?

46-year old Pamela Anderson has shocked the world again with a new dark blonde haircut that makes her look like a different person. On October 30th, Rick Salomon and Pamela revealed to the world that she had chosen to nix the long blonde hair that has been her trademark style since 1992. The style that has stayed the same for 20 years, largely due to her fame from the show “Baywatch”, seems to be a thing of the past. She has chosen to rock a fabulous pixie cut and like most things, it looks great on her. Her wardrobe was fabulous as well. She had on a very elegant black-and-white striped dress with a light-colored cardigan and black sunglasses. Her make-up was understated and her feet were covered with stylishly smart black ballet flats. Rick was wearing shorts and a sweatshirt.

The New Trend

Some fear that the new cut may actually be a wig, but others accredit it to a new stylist or even a new chapter in her life. Back in April she had stated that she was older now and preferred to dress more modestly. Either way, this is the most sophisticated we’ve ever seen her and everyone seems to agree that she looks amazing.

Just this week, Jennifer Hudson also stepped out with a stunning new super-short hairstyle. Back in August, Beyonce temporarily sampled a pixie, but ultimately chose to go back to a longer look. Michelle Williams looks adorable in her short locks and Charlize Theron is known for her trendy pixie style hair.

Famous pixies have been scattered throughout history as well. Could anyone ever forget Twiggy and her chic short locks? How about Mia Farrow making haircut history in 1967? Vidal Sassoon actually flew in from London to style Mia with a pixie for her appearance in “Rosemary’s Baby.”

Who’s Rick?

Rick Salomon is a film producer and was briefly married to Pamela in 2007. Reports say they filed divorce papers just ten weeks after their marriage. At any rate, they had completed an annulment in 2008 after just one short year of legal marriage. The two have not confirmed that they are in a serious relationship and Pamela has chosen to play coy when directly asked the question. She claims Rick is merely a friend with benefits. Anyone with eyeballs can see that the two have been spending an awful lot of time together in the last few months. The unrelenting paparazzi were able to catch photos of the star, minus her top, on a nude beach in France with Salomon. They don’t seem to be trying to hide it. We’ll have to wait and see what happens.

What’s She Been Up To?

Pamela has her sights set on a New York Marathon. On Nov. 3, Pamela plans to run in her first marathon ever. She’s been training fiercely for the event and has high hopes to do well. She feels like running gives her a clear head and she’s very excited about the challenge.
