Disney+ Reveals More About Their New Loki Series

Get ready because everyone’s favorite God of Mischief is coming our way and he certainly will have a lot of tricks up his sleeve.

The new and upcoming Loki series on Disney+ is set to lead the way for Marvel’s new TV lineup, one of many multiple MCU spinoff series planned for the service. “Loki” will center on the titular, Asgardian trickster who debuted in 2011’s “Thor” and played a prominent role in the evolution of Marvel’s movie-verse.

Many fans are excited that Loki will finally be getting the center of attention, but most all, they are excited that Tom Hiddleston, who plays Loki, will be back on screen.

For those that have watched “Avengers: Endgame” (and if you haven’t it’s too late because there will be spoilers beyond this point), Loki uses the Infinity Stone he acquired in Endgame to hop around the universe engaging in various adventures.

The series is expected to premiere in 2021. “Loki,” as revealed during Marvel Studios’ panel at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2019, will be part of Phase 4 plans for the MCU, and is one of many big Disney+ projects in addition to big-screen features.
