J-Law to Leave X-Men Franchise!
Say it isn’t so! X-Men fans are taking a moment of silence today as they learned that Jennifer Lawrence is leaving the franchise after the latest installment next summer. She recently revealed to MTV news that ‘X-Men Apocalypse’ will be her last go as the blue shape shifting Mystique.

Lawrence first portrayed the character in ‘X-Men: First Class’ and then again in last year’s mega blockbuster hit ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past.’ There has been no word on why Lawrence has decided to leave the franchise, but one thing is for sure – her career certainly won’t be slowing down because of it.
Jennifer is reuniting with ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ director David O. Russell and star Bradley Cooper for an upcoming film titled ‘Joy’ about real life single mother Joy Mangano who invented the miracle mop.
