You’ll Love This Cast Even More
The cast of “Avengers: Endgame” — Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, and Chris Evans—appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday night to chat about the upcoming film, which premieres in theaters later this month. They discussed the premiere, getting matching tattoos, and birthday gifts they buy for each other.
The cast also read a kid-friendly adaptation of “Infinity Wars,” for any children who happened to be watching at home. Kimmel said the ending of Infinity Wars, in which the character Thanos murdered half the world’s people, upset many viewers.
“While children love superheroes, I’m not so sure how they feel about intergalactic genocide,” Kimmel said. “It’s no fun to see Spider-Man die. To get the kids back, we wrote a version of that movie that’s kid-friendly, a children’s book, and we asked the Avengers themselves to read it for us.”
The Avengers cast took turns reading from the book, which was called “’Twas the Mad Titan Thanos,” a spin on “The Night Before Christmas.”
