Donald Trump’s no-filter style dominates his first TV interview as he critiques Biden and teases bold plans
President Donald Trump is back, and so is his trademark style of blunt, no-holds-barred communication. In his first TV interview of his second term, Trump sat down with Fox News’ Sean Hannity and delivered a whirlwind hour of hot takes, bold claims, and sharp criticism of President Joe Biden’s administration.
The most talked-about moment? When Hannity tried to steer the conversation toward the economy, Trump stopped him cold with just three words: “I don’t care.”
Hannity: "I'm running out of time"
Trump: "I don't care!”

A Heated Exchange
As Hannity attempted to manage the clock, Trump seemed more focused on airing grievances about Biden’s recent decisions—particularly his preemptive pardons for certain individuals, which Trump called a precedent-setting move. Trump pointed out that pardoning others but not himself could come back to haunt Biden.
“The precedent he set on pardons is amazing,” Trump said. “But he didn’t pardon himself.” Trump also noted that those pardoned individuals are now legally obligated to testify and can’t invoke the Fifth Amendment.
When asked if Congress should investigate Biden’s pardons, Trump said he’d leave that to lawmakers. House Speaker Mike Johnson has already hinted at a willingness to explore the issue.
The Tangents We Expect from Trump
The conversation didn’t stop at pardons. Trump hinted at scrapping FEMA, criticizing its inefficiency and suggesting disaster relief be handled at the state level. He also promised to release long-awaited files on the assassinations of JFK and RFK, claiming high-ranking officials previously urged him to withhold them.
“I was asked not to release them, but we’re looking at it now, and I’ll release them immediately,” he vowed.
Closing Thoughts
Trump’s interview gave a glimpse of what to expect from his second term—bold promises, fiery critiques, and a refusal to be reined in. Whether you’re a supporter or skeptic, it’s clear Trump is ready to dominate the headlines once again.
