We don’t know about you, but we’ve only made it halfway through January and we are already getting stir crazy and ready for a vacation. TripAdvisor recently released its annual list of global travel destinations, previewing the predicted most popular destinations to travel to in 2018. TripAdvisor calculates these rankings based on positive reviews for attractions, restaurants and hotels in each destination and also takes into account booking data. If you aren’t looking to do any international travel this year, TripAdvisor also ranks U.S. cities and states for travel as well as different regions. There’s something for everybody on this year’s list!

Coming in at number one is Bali, Indonesia. Known for its white sand beaches and lush jungles, Bali is a great vacation for those looking for some sun and adventure. It is also known for it’s wellness aspect, hosting plenty of yoga and mindfulness retreats.

London, United Kingdom also graced the top of the list this year. This popular tourist destination is great for the culture aficionado, boasting plenty of food, history, music and more.

Paris, France was another big hitter predicted to win the hearts of tourists and travelers this year. Though we aren’t shocked, the romance capital is always pulling enthusiasts no matter the year. Shopping and leisure appears to be the hit when traveling here.
