The best game shows, at least in my humble opinion, are the ones where you can win secret prizes. Not just the prizes they unveil behind the big curtain, but the ones they don’t tell you about (but maybe tell the audience about at the start of the show). Winning prizes is awesome, but winning prizes you weren’t expecting is even better. If you want some secret prizes, then here’s how to get all the badges in Shovelware’s Brain Game.
How to Get All Badges in Roblox Shovelware’s Brain Game
Despite ostensibly just being a classic quiz show, Shovelware’s Brain Game is hiding a few secrets backstage. Specifically, the game features six Roblox badges for you to unlock and display proudly. Some of them are unlocked by simply succeeding in the regular game, answering questions correctly and all that, while others require a bit of sleuthing on your part.
The six badges in Shovelware’s Brain Game are as follows:
- Welcome to Shovelware’s Brain Game!
- Grand Champion!
- Win a Bonus Prize!
- Win 50 Prizes!
- The King of Cantaloupe
- The Announcer’s Secret
Welcome to Shovelware’s Brain Game!
This is an easy one. All you need to do is join an active instance of the game, and you’ll unlock the badge automatically. Yes, it’s a participation prize, but we’ll cherish it nonetheless.
Grand Champion!
To get this badge, you need to win a full round of the Brain Game. To do that, you need to answer enough questions correctly to earn enough points to win that round’s grand prize. If you’re playing with other people, you need to come in first, but if you’re playing by yourself, you’ll win by default. Either way, the badge is yours.
Win a Bonus Prize!
Occasionally, when the Dancing Banana presents a question, an alarm will sound signaling that it’s time for a bonus prize. If you answer the ensuing question correctly, you’ll win the bonus prize, alongside this badge.
Win 50 Prizes!
Another simple one; all you need to do to win this badge is earn a combined total of 50 prizes across all rounds you play in. This includes both grand prizes and bonus prizes, so just rack up all the prizes you can to get the badge.
The King of Cantaloupe
This one takes a bit of luck. When the game is not active, look around the audience to see if there’s a cantaloupe in the stands. They’re pretty distinctive thanks to their large size and orange beard. If there’s a cantaloupe in the audience, join the game and play as you normally would. Midway through the game, the cantaloupe will interrupt the show, kidnap the Dancing Banana, and carry him up to the rafters, where you’ll need to play an imprompteu game of Donkey Kong. It doesn’t matter if you win or lose this minigame; afterward, just play through the rest of the round as normal. When the show is over, go around to the very back of the soundstage to find an arcade machine next to the rear “soundstage 7” sign. It’s the same game again, but this time, you need to rack up a score of at least 50,000 before you run out of lives. Make that happen, and the badge is yours.
The Announcer’s Secret
This is probably the most involved badge of the bunch. There are three different ways to trigger this badge’s activation:
- When you get the chance to select a question category during the show, choose the category “What’s the Word?” If you’re lucky, the announcer will ask you a question about the Obby he created (that’s short for “obstacle course,” by the way).
- When a bonus prize is being presented, the prize in question may be an Obby Kit.
- At the end of a round, the announcer may offhandedly mention his Obby.
Basically, someone just has to say the word “Obby.” As the Dancing Banana will point out, a door will open somewhere. Let the round finish playing out, and once you can walk around again, head to the right side of the set and use the boxes to climb up to the rafters. Above the soundstage sign is a vent that is now cracked open. Enter the vent, and you’ll be automatically moved to an instance of The Announcer’s Obby. All you need to do now is clear the obstacle course (which is not difficult, despite the announcer’s insistences) and touch the badge pad at the end to unlock the badge.
Getting all the badges certifies you as a bona-fide Brain Game master! Well, “certifies” is a strong word, you d0n’t get a certificate or anything, but you can totally brag about it to your friends! That’s basically the same thing.
