First ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Trailer Released

Marvel has decided to give fans an early Christmas present in the form of a trailer for the next ‘Avengers’ movie.

Titled ‘Avengers: Endgame’ (no doubt a call back to Dr. Strange’s statement “We’re in the endgame now” in ‘Infinity War’), the trailer serves up a glorious 2 and half minutes of what’s to come for the Avengers. Most of the emphasis is placed on the two leaders of the team, Tony Stark and Steve Rogers. Black Widow and Bruce Banner also make appearances.

One of the highlights of the trailer, however, was the inclusion of a Hawkeye reveal. Or rather Ronin Clint Barton took on the persona of Ronin in the comics in the aftermath of Civil War. Fans have currently suspected that Jeremy Renner would be becoming Ronin sometime in the films, especially when a photo was leaked of Renner sporting a black and gold outfit similar to Ronin’s comic book look.

Another pleasant surprise is the appearance of Scott Lang at the end of the trailer. In a post-credits scene in Infinity War, Scott was in the the Quantum Realm on a mission when the snap occurred. Hank Pym, Janet Van Dyne and Lily were all wiped out from the snap, leaving Scott stranded in the Quantum Realm. Despite being considered impossible to escape from on your own, Scott somehow manages to pull it off. We will no doubt see how in a scene in ‘Endgame.’

‘Avengers: Endgame’ will be coming to theaters on April 26, 2019. Mark your calendars, and fasten your seat belts. The first life cycle of the MCU is finally coming at an end. The journey might be almost over, but this will be the bumpiest ride yet.
