Talk About A Gamble

Since at least 2012 multinational oil and gas company Shell has been trying to drill off of the coast of Alaska. Since then, the multibillion-dollar company has encountered problem after problem.

Shell is said to break land this summer with 200 and 500 vessels called the Polar Pioneer and the Noble Discoverer, 30 support vessels, and 7aircrafts. Back in 2012 Shell tried a similar plan and it went horribly wrong as dozens of rescue efforts had to be made.

SEATTLE KAYAK OIL PROTEST

According to oilprice.com this new venture has cost the oil company upwards of seven billion dollars to get ready. Talk about a gamble. However, while all signs point to Shell continuing on its oil plan this go-around has also had its road blocks the first of which weight 4,000 pounds and has two very large tusks hanging from its mouth!
