No, it’s not a vacuum robot. Starship Technologies’ delivery robot drives itself, and can carry 20-25 pounds up to two miles away! And the best part is D.C. pedestrians soon could be sharing the sidewalk with robots transporting meals or messages around the city.

Allan Martinson, chief operating officer at Starship, said the fully eclectic robots are more energy-efficient than cars and produce no carbon emissions! Each is equipped with cameras and sensors to avoid impediments and walkers.
