Have you ever left change when you go through the screening at the airport?
Ever wonder what happens to it?
The TSA kept it!! Last year, the Transportation Security Administration, commonly known as the TSA, raked in over a half a million dollars in forgotten change.
So basically forgetful travelers lost $531,395.22 worth of loose change to the TSA. Law requires that the transit administration uses the money toward additional security.
