Falcon Heavy Launch Is A Success
The billionaire businessman Elon Musk launched the Falcon Heavy rocket into space Tuesday, adding space exploration onto his already impressive resume. Not only is it exciting to know that the rocket’s mock payload was a bright cherry red Tesla, courtesy of Musk himself, it’s exciting to see the most advanced rocket successfully launch into space. So yes, that means that beautiful cherry red Tesla you’ve been eyeing could be in perpetual earth orbit from here on out.

The rocket, complete with a strapped-in mannequin, launched from Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 3:45 pm Tuesday, and onlookers were impressed at how incredibly powerful the vibrations felt through the ground during takeoff were. The launch was a success, and the behemoth rocket soared over the Atlantic Ocean with ease. Musk’s creation was the most powerful and advanced rocket since the shuttle system. That means the Falcon Heavy becomes the most capable launch vehicle available to date.
The self-made billionaire isn’t just trying to save the world through his electric cars, but also clearly through space aviation and exploration. Regardless of his motives for the launch, experts cannot deny it is a huge step forward for space exploration. Musk says this is the most powerful rocket, which is double the performance capacity of the next most powerful rocket, the Delta IV Heavy, and is the third of the cost. According to BBC, two of the boosters came back to touchdown zones on the Florida coast just south of Kennedy. Their landing legs made contact with the ground virtually at the same time, while the third missed its target designation and landed in the Atlantic Ocean.
