A Turn For The Worst
If you have ever played sports growing up then you know Sports Authority all too well. And if you subscribe to their e-mails you would have gotten an e-mail from the CEO this past week stating their shocking news.
The sporting goods retailer has hired liquidators to begin store-closing sales at up to 200 of its 463 locations. The once top U.S. sporting goods retailer has struggled to compete with formidable rival Dicks Sporting goods, as well as retailers like Wal-Mart and Target.
Customers have been deeply saddened by the news and will soon need to seek alternative sporting stores if a Sports Authority near them is closing. For more exclusive details be sure to check out the video above.
