 Robot Octopus Just Keeps Swimming
Robot Octopus Just Keeps Swimming
When you swim in the ocean what comes to mind? The creature’s larking in the deep blue such as sharks, jellyfish, or what about a robot octopus?
That’s right. Researchers built a robot octopus that is not only able to swim in the ocean; it’s able to carry around objects in its tentacles at the same time.
Oh yeah, and when it’s not doing that it swims the Mediterranean freely. Not a bad life for a robot octopus. But don’t let this robot fool you, it’s not the first out there.
Researchers have actually created enough under water robots to support a whole water polo team like the robot fish, the robot jellyfish, and even the robot crab.
So next time your in the ocean be sure you watch out for robots!
