The Tortoise & the Police Car
Finally an answer to the age-old question. What’s faster a tortoise or a police car? Well, if you were wondering the answer was the police car.
The Alhambra Police Department in California loves interacting with the wildlife and this tortoise made Facebook headlines.
The tortoise made the great escape but was stopped by the local police department.
The police wrote, “They almost had a pursuit! It took two officers to take this guy into custody!” The police department loves joking around with the public and when someone asked if it was a ninja turtle and the police responded “It did not respond to Michelangelo, Leonardo, Raphael, or Donatello, so it may be a female.”
The tortoise was reunited with his family and the police were a little upset they couldn’t keep him as their department pet.
