A Second Chance For Hope
With a flick of his pen yesterday President Obama got rid of the prison terms for 46 drug offenders. The president released a video statement saying that the drug offenders are not hardened criminals and that their punishments didn’t fit their crimes.
That they deserve a second chance and that there is a lot more that the country can do to restore the heart of our justice system. The move is part of the Obama’s administration to reform the criminal justice system by changing some laws and reducing the criminals sentencing.
